Portrait of a Malinois called Buck and he is a K9 police-dog. I'm happy with it, especially his eyes. I think they came out great. He has a lot of different colors in his coat which was fun to do.
I dont know much about the dog, but I hope his owner will be happy with it. Because then he might commission me again for his other dog, a Jack Russel.  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. If I may offer you some critique, you may in the future choose to place in a background or vignette around the subject to help pull the subject off the page more. Also on his back where the fur ends the edge may be a little on the sharp side, if it was blurred out slightly, or even if you were to take a sharp tipped pencil crayon (of appropriate colors) and feather the edge, it would create a more realistic sense of that furry texture.
