Finally!! It is done.
The huge portret of Silas the longhaired dog is finished. And I'm pretty satisfied about him too. The pasted together scans are bad though. I'll take a photo of the piece soon. I hope that turns out better then this. I used about 13 scans and some 20 layers... The portret turned out to be 60x40 cm, and thats about as big as I can handle! I will take commissions again of this size but only after a good talk with the commissioner. Because just one head would be to much for my little pencils. This compostion turned out to be very good to achieve. Derwent watercolor pencils, 60x40 cm (23''x17'') and many hours. |
