Sketches

I started a new drawing, again of a horse! Gosh, I love drawing horses. I'm so glad I found the time and motivation again.

I decided to show my loyal followers an insight in my drawing process. Sketching takes up quite some time. Here you can see how a sketch starts out and what fases it goes through. Its quite a laborious task and making four or five sketches is normal for me.

The last one here is final, unless I see some flaws tomorrow (and shorten the body a bit, saw that already!). Then I trace it onto thick and smooth drawing paper and color it.

The head of this horse was difficult! The angle is gorgeous to look at, but a pain in the butt to draw. I hope it looks alright now.
