A drawing of my dog Sammy, who we had to put to sleep some weeks ago. I made this one for my father and framed it. I'm pretty happy with it, she really looks like she did when she was alive. The only thing that bothers me a bit, are the white hairs on her chest. I should have put more time in those. Now, they look a bit unreal.
Gosh, she was such a sweet dog... we still miss her a lot. 29x42cm, colored pencils. Edit: I got an ODD from  on ODDS for March 27th 2006!! I'm so proud! Sammy deserves the attention!(Crap, I never seem to get the icon thing straight, once more it refuses to appear.... have never been able to insert an emoticon either.... ) Edit: Woohoo! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
